This is a compilation of 3v3 clips on the Ruin BG, all played at the 2600+ MMR. Nearly all of the opponents are Gladiators, most are well known, and some are B
rutal Glads. My partners are a Survival Hunter and a Resto Shaman.

I used Windows Movie Maker which really sucks and sometimes the video jumps around. I wish I had a better editing program, and I'm sure I'll get one in the future. This release is mainly in answer to the reams of tells I get asking me questions about Prot -- this is the answer, some raw clips of how I play it. Lots of switches and careful management of the other team's DPS.
Clarification on my UI:
The buff bars that pop up in the top left are whitelisted buffs in a special Elkano's Buff Bar. These are the buffs that tell me when I want to switch - Sac, Freedom, Bubble, Evasion, etc.
The bar that pops up center screen above my head are critical debuffs on me -- Disarm, HoJ, Kidney shot. These are the ones I like to trinket, or otherwise like to know about immediately so I can react to them.
The frame above my Gladius is my focus frame. The cast bar on the right side of my screen, near my normal debuff frame, is a focus cast bar.
I know the UI can be a system shock, but it's optimized for fast arena play and I make several stylistic sacrifices in order to get results.
Also, for some reason people are confused about my stances, despite the very clear Hamstring button on my stance bar -- I am in Battle stance for 90% of these games, only going Defensive when people ride me, I know I have a Revenge available, or I need to disarm.
