Few others match the sorcerer’s raw damage, especially on crowds. Sorcerers shape magic through their discs by channeling force of will into sheets of flame, icy blades, and cannonballs of pure energy. Warriors of the intellect, they prefer to stand apart, watch for vulnerability, and make their foes pay dearly for it.
In battle, you play a game of position with the foe, finding the best line through your opponents, the best spot from which to strike, the best moment . . . and then smiting. If that sounds fun, roll up a sorcerer!
Arms and Armor
Sorcerers are artillery. They carry no blades. If you kill at arms’ length, why use armor? Lone sorcerers seek the best location, plan their attack carefully, and strike with overwhelming force, their arcane discs whirling and blazing. The ideal attack kills in a single blow. In a group, sorcerers flank and attack the enemy where they’re clustered. The most powerful spells take time to charge, so a sense of position and timing is vital. Their tactic in close combat is to quickly escape it.
Sorcerers draw in magic slowly while at rest but expend it quickly in combat. Their offensive skills rain elemental or arcane death on opponents. The sorcerer's best defense is a nimble dodge out of the way, followed up with a devastating mystic riposte.
As a sorcerer, you'll enter the world of TERA with a fast fireball attack for offense against single targets, and a pillar of flame for defense that hits all enemies in front of you. Batter your opponents at range, and when you can’t back away, scorch them to discourage them.
